Flexeril Common Uses: This medicine is a muscle relaxant used to treat
muscle spasms.
How to use this Flexeril Medicine: Follow the directions for using this
medicine provided by your doctor. THIS MEDICINE MAY BE TAKEN WITH FOOD if it
upsets your stomach. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature, away from heat
and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE and you are using it
regularly, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next
dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do
not take 2 doses at once.
Flexeril Cautions: THIS MEDICINE MAY CAUSE drowsiness, dizziness, or
blurred vision. Do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything else that
could be dangerous until you know how you react to this medicine. THIS
MEDICINE WILL ADD TO THE EFFECTS of other depressants or alcohol. Ask your
pharmacist if you have questions about which medicines are depressants. IF
YOU EXPERIENCE DRY MOUTH, use sugarless candy or gum, or melt bits of ice in
your mouth. If dry mouth continues for more than 2 weeks, contact your
dentist or doctor. DO NOT USE THIS MEDICINE longer than recommended by your
doctor. FOR WOMEN: IT IS UNKNOWN IF THIS MEDICINE IS EXCRETED in breast
milk. IF YOU ARE OR WILL BE BREAST-FEEDING while you are using this
medicine, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your
baby.
Flexeril Possible Side Effects: SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during
treatment, include drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, blurred vision, dry
mouth, or unpleasant taste. If they continue or are bothersome, check with
your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your
doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
